The vision of Anchored Hope For Her Heart is to support women who are caregivers by providing encouragement, resources, fellowship, and an eternal perspective to live for Jesus in faith, hope and love, right where they are.

Why Did I start Anchored Hope For Her Heart?

For Caregivers

After watching my mum care for my sister with cerebral palsy for over two decades with limited or no support, having several friends who are caring for family and friends with additional needs who are struggling, being cared for myself by others through two cancer diagnoses, working in a hospital as an auxiliary nurse for cancer patients, watching numerous carers unable to access church fellowship, supporting a growing network of carers through content creation, and now walking the road myself as a special needs parent, I had a longing to create something for caregivers that strengthens their faith and gives them encouragement in their daily life.

For Churches

Jesus cares for the caregiver. He met people where they were. He is the God who sees. He is the one who cares for our heart. The Lord cares for the lonely, the forgotten, the weary, and the struggling. I believe caregivers are often overlooked. I have seen how hard it is to access services. What breaks my heart is how hard it is to access church and community. I would love to see this change. I don’t speak for every carer, but I do raise my voice and advocate for those who are hidden. I want to see churches connect with caregivers intentionally and repeatedly. This is a mission field in the heart of our communities.

For Christ

The one thing I want to do is always point to Jesus. He is the anchor to hold us in the storms of daily life; indeed, He is the one who can command the wind and waves to be still, too. His death, resurrection, and ascension are glorious truths to take hold of. He promises to never leave nor forsake us. He watches our going out and our coming in. Time and again, He has sustained me and my family when we have been in the depths. I pray you will know the Lord is with you in every moment. You are seen. You are loved. What you do matters. But who you are matters, too. That is what I want to remind you of. Your identity and security are in Christ. He is the anchor and the hope for your heart.

How Can I Help You?

Caregiving can be isolating, lonely, and hard. But it can also be joy-filled, a privilege, and a blessing. I would love to encourage you to keep going by supporting you with presence and prayer. The hidden work of care that you do is holy work unto the Lord. I hope you will be refreshed and reminded that Jesus is your anchor and firm foundation. My dream is to steer you toward Jesus — He is the hope for your heart.
